Paul
Founder, Executive Editor and Analyst
Paul is a well-known editor, author, analyst and consultant who focuses on applying new technologies and methodologies to real-world business problems. In addition, Paul is a founder and chief methodologist at BPTrends, a professional services company providing educational and consulting services to managers interested in understanding and implementing business process change. He is the author of Business Process Change: A Manager’s Guide to Improving, Redesigning, and Automating Processes (2003) and he has previously co-authored several other books on software technology, including the international best-seller, Expert Systems: AI for Business (1985).
From 1985 to 2000 Mr. Harmon served as a senior consultant and head of Cutter Consortium’s Distributed Architecture practice as well as the author of several Cutter newsletters, including Expert Systems Strategies, CASE Strategies, and Object-Oriented Development Strategies.
Paul has worked on major process redesign projects with Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Security Pacific, Prudential, and Citibank, among others. He is a member of ISPI and a widely respected keynote speaker who has developed and delivered workshops and seminars on a wide variety of topics to conferences and major corporations through out the world.
